Call to Order / Approval of Minutes:
Approval of the minutes from February 14, 2020 meeting deferred to April meeting

This meeting was not conducted in person and was conducted remotely due to fast-changing conditions on the UCCS campus. All three Cabinet leaders joined the meeting discussion towards the end of the meeting to update the assembly on the current campus status concerning the COVID-19 pandemic local and state emergency.
Updates included the following: emphasis of safety for everyone as top priority; an incident management team of 30 people including the Deans has been assembled; every college has a team and there is also a faculty team; remote learning is moving up one week to start Monday; all campus events are cancelled; there is a remote learning “SWAT” team being assembled and there are numerous materials available to support faculty in transitioning to remote learning. Chancellor Reddy suggested all faculty include the covid19.uccs.edu web address in their email signature.

Discussion Item:
A moderated discussion took place remotely about the COVID-19 situation and its effect on campus instruction and mission process. Items discussed included remote instruction delivery options and idea sharing. Some key faculty concerns involved: discussion of use of FCQs from this semester; whether students would have access to library and computers for remote learning; accessibility issues for students in the remote environment and whether the drop dates would be extended for students.
